Creative Projects
Crafting spaces where unseen stories meet the world - creating connections through film, theatre, and photography.
Sheena D. Robertson’s work as a photographer, and a producer-director of film, theatre, and multi-disciplinary arts-based projects is grounded in collective storytelling and artistic rigor. Her creative practice is shaped by a love of colour and light, and by a deep commitment to telling diverse stories that are not often seen or heard. She believes the creative process can foster connection, meaning, and social change.
Sheena is known for developing multidisciplinary projects that bring artists and communities together to explore story, place, and identity. Her work is process-driven and relationship-based, often unfolding over time and shaped by the voices, histories, and lived experiences of those involved—particularly those that have been marginalized or overlooked.
As a director and producer, she is drawn to both large-scale, socially engaged initiatives—such as The Regent Park Project—and more intimate works in film, theatre, and photography. Across forms and contexts, her leadership emphasizes collaboration, care, and the creation of spaces where meaningful artistic exchange can occur.
Each project is both an offering and an invitation: to listen deeply, imagine collectively, and create work that resonates beyond the moment.
